Making backups (and testing those backups) is vital to every company and should become a regular of your business routine. Luckily, Sage 50 makes it easy for you to create a backup of all of your company database - including custom forms and custom reports.
Here's how it works.
How to Backup Sage 50
Note: You can also set up the Remind Me option to have Sage 50 remind you in a specific number of days to make a backup when you exit the system.
3. Click the Backup button.
Note: We suggest saving the backup to a removable device, such as a flash drive or external hard drive, for off site storage and extra protection.
5. Click Ok to any additional prompts.
And that's it! That's how easy it is to make backups in Sage 50 Accounting. We highly recommend making regular daily or weekly backups of your system.
Note: Depending on the size of your backup, the backup process may take a while - be patient!
