Sage Releases No-Cost Expense Management App for iPhone, iPad
This new no-cost app for iPhone and iPad records money-in and money-out transactions, provides a real-time view of business performance, and eliminates time wasted with paper records and manual spreadsheets. Users can enter transactions and take photos of receipts. The transactions and associated paperwork are kept together in the app and in the cloud for whenever the business owner or accountant needs them.
Designed for start-ups and very small businesses, Sage Expenses data can move seamlessly to Sage One as a company grows and wants to step up to more features and financial management functionality.
Sage Expenses is initially available in the U.K. and U.S. from Appstore. Global rollout is scheduled for the coming months.

RKL eSolutions Releases Sage Connector for Concur
RKL’s inspiration for developing the connector came directly from their own in‐house experience as both a Sage 500 and Concur customer. Transferring travel expense data from Concur to the general ledger, processing reimbursements, and settling credit card expenses was taking four to five days and lots of manual matching and reconciliation by the RKL accounting staff.
“So we decided to automate it,” says RKL president Joe Noll. “And we slashed our travel expense reconciliation and month‐end closing process from what was taking us 4 to 5 days before, down to just a couple of hours now now.”
He adds, “At the same time, we knew that other companies using both Sage and Concur would enjoy those benefits, so we built Concur connector versions for three Sage ERP products.”
