Sage Intacct 2025 Release 3 is now available. The latest edition of Sage Intacct went live August 8, 2025. As with the last several releases, the popular cloud-based ERP application continues to deliver innovations and time-saving features based on AI and machine learning. Here’s a closer look at what’s new in Sage Intacct 2025 R3.
New Close Workspace
Sage Intacct 2025 R3 introduces a new Close Workspace for customers in the Sage Copilot Close Automation Early adopter program. The Close Workspace is a centralized environment for managing the period-close process that helps finance teams execute their close with greater confidence and efficiency.

Close Workspace lets you create checklists of tasks related to your organization's close processes. You can then assign those tasks to various members of your team and monitor their progress from a central location.
Close Workspace automatically calculates the target start and completion date for each task based on information that you enter in the task template. You can leverage pre-built Copilot-assisted tasks that come out-of-the-box or create your own custom tasks to add to the checklist.

Sage Intacct’s enhanced lists are upgraded list views designed to make data navigation and management faster and more intuitive. While a bulk of the enhancements were introduced as early adopter features in previous releases, these enhanced lists are now the default view in Sage Intacct 2025 R3 which feature:

More Efficient Purchasing and Document Management
The latest release of Sage Intacct introduces a new way to combine multiple documents into a single transaction. You can simplify purchasing workflow by combining multiple documents, or specific line items from different purchase orders, into a single invoice . For example, when a vendor sends you an invoice for multiple orders, you can create a single Purchasing transaction from multiple converted documents, including specific line items.
In addition, the new AI-driven line-level matching feature (early adopter program) makes for smarter purchasing workflow. This intelligent matching feature matches each line in the vendor document with the corresponding line in the matched transaction. In addition, Sage Intacct uses AI to detect potential discrepancies like vendor, price, or quantity mismatches and then feeds corrections back into the learning model for improved future matching.

A variety of time-saving enhancements are added to Accounts Payable functions including:
Delegate bill approvals - whether a primary approver is on vacation, leave, or other absence, this new ability to delegate approval ensures that bills continue to move through the A/P workflow without delay.
Streamlined Vendor Payments with MineralTree - leveraging seamless integration with MineralTree, this new payment service supports all your entities in Sage Intacct, along with your bill workflows and payment approvals. You can pay vendors with ACH, virtual card, or check, directly from within Sage Intacct, as well as maintain vendor payment preferences and automatically send detailed remittances.
Pay Bills From Vendor Lists – a new ‘Pay’ option now appears for each vendor in the Vendors list so you can pay directly from the same screen without navigating elsewhere. When you select Pay for a vendor, a Pay bills window appears, showing the vendor's open bills.

Accounts Receivable Improvements
Like the new “Pay from Vendors List” feature mentioned above, you can now apply customer payments directly from the Customers List. A new ‘Apply payment’ option appears for each customer in the Customers list. When clicked, a Receive payments popup window opens showing the customer's open invoices.
In addition, you can now import large volume bill back transactions. This simplifies invoice processing by importing multiple bill back invoices simultaneously with the updated AR invoice CSV template. Just add the bill back template ID to the new column, and Intacct will automatically create the corresponding bills upon import.
