  • Sage Opens New HQ in Midtown Atlanta
  • Sage Business Partners of the Year for 2014-2015 Announced

Sage CTO Himanshu Palsule and EVP Marketing Gabrielle Boko Depart

Himanshu Palsule
In late October, it was announced that Himanshu Palsule, Chief Technology Officer (CTO) and head of strategy, and Gabrielle Boko, Executive Vice President (EVP) of marketing, have both left Sage North America.

Himanshu had been with Sage since 1997, taking on the role as CTO and Head of Strategy in mid-2012.  He was responsible for all product and technology development, as well as guiding overall product strategy for the Sage product and services portfolio in North America.  For Sage customers, he was probably most visible as the product keynote speaker over the last several years at the annual Sage Summit customer and partner conference.

As EVP of marketing for Sage since 2013, Gabrielle also assumed a visible presence at the Sage Summit annual conference recently. She had been with Sage for about 2 ½ years.

New and Modernized Sage 100c and 300c Launched

In November, Sage announced the launch of Sage 100c and Sage 300c. Distinguished by the extra “c” in the product name (which is easy to miss!), these new products represent the next steps in the company’s journey to modernize its portfolio.

Both Sage 100c and 300c also represent an updated interface to their respective and traditional sister products Sage 100 (formerly MAS 90 & MAS 200) and Sage 300 (formerly Accpac). Based on literature available, all products in the Sage 100 and 300 line are functionally the same. The only difference (currently) is that the “C” products offer a more modern web-based interface and platform that’s natively mobile.

Stay tuned to the top-sage-resellers.com blog as we’ll post more information about these new products as it becomes available.

Sage Opens New HQ in Midtown Atlanta

In October, Sage announced that the company’s North American headquarters was officially moved to the heart of Midtown Atlanta at Atlantic Station. Formerly located in Irvine, California, Sage feels that the new HQ location is well-positioned to attract the right talent to deliver exciting technology to small and medium businesses.

Mayor of Atlanta, Kasim Reed, says, "Sage chose Atlanta because of our talented pool of technology workers, coming from our best-in-class colleges and universities. A global company needs global connectivity, and the world's busiest and most efficient passenger airport offers unparalleled access to international markets. Sage North America has found an excellent home here in Atlanta."
