Sage Acquires HR Solution from Fairsail
According to a press release on the Fairsail website, The Sage Group plc ("Sage") is currently a minority shareholder. However with the acquisition, Sage will take full ownership of Fairsail, building on the success of a shared product, Sage People, launched last year.
Built on the enterprise cloud platform, Salesforce App Cloud, Sage People delivers functionality that covers core HR needs, such as people management, compensation, benefits, and time management as well as payroll, talent acquisition and management, and HR planning.
Not only does the Fairsail acquisition also build on Sage’s partnership with Salesforce, it serves to form part of a so-called “Golden Triangle” strategy that has Sage offering customers a single cloud solution to manage people and payroll, payments, and accounting.
