QUESTION: WHAT IS A Sage ADD ON?
A software add on, or enhancement, is an extension to your core Sage product. Typically developed and supported by a third party "Independent Software Vendor" (ISV), these add-ons provide additional features and capabilities that didn't come "out of the box" as standard functionality in your main Sage ERP, CRM, HRMS, or accounting software.
In some cases, the developer will create add on software in the same environment as your core ERP product. That means the screens look almost identical and you don't even know when you've jumped from working in one product - like Sage 100 - to the add on product.
In addition when a Sage add on says that it's integrated, that means much of the data and transactions (if not all of it) created in the third party application is transferred and synchronized with your main Sage product. However, not all software add-ons are integrated (nor need to be in some cases) so be sure to check.
